Psychopathology & Therapies

Psychopathology is described as the scientific study of abnormal behaviours, perceptions, thoughts and experiences. Traditionally categorised by symptom onset and discussed in psychiatry and abnormal psychology, research examines genetic factors, or the impact of childhood trauma and life events, for causational explanations of emergent maladaptive disorders.

In any enquiry into abnormality, we first need to agree on a definition of what is normal?  In this highly fascinating topic on Psychopathology and Therapies, taught as part of the Introduction to Psychology course, you will learn about the traditional definitions and categorisation of different psychopathologies, the biological, behavioural, cognitive, and psychodynamic approaches, and methods of treating psychological disorders.  With discussion on cognitive disorders, such as agoraphobia, delusions, schizophrenia, psychosis, learned helplessness, and the different approaches to treatment, you will learn about new contemporary theories of schizophrenia, depression and suicide, uniquely developed and explained by the analyst teaching this module, that offers a different perspective beyond the scientific approach and medicalised models.

This fully detailed and comprehensive module is for anyone wishing to develop a deeper understanding of core psychopathology, the impact of childhood trauma, and the structure of the non-conscious part of the mind.  The information presented is highly recommended for students of psychology, those who work in care settings, and professional clinics, or those who wish to advance their knowledge and comprehension in the more extreme aspects of human cognition.

Sex & Gender

Sex and gender are two different things, but what defines them?  Are we definable?  In an ever-changing world view of personal identity, never before has our descriptions and beliefs about our individual sexual identity and our gender identity and preferences been so openly discussed, and privately enquired.  Why then, are people still confused about these important concepts?

Social Influence & Obedience

Social influence studies in psychology examine the often shocking way in which an individual loses autonomy – the ability of independent thought -and changes their behaviour, thinking and sometimes even their own identity, in response to environmental influences.  Or in some cases, merely as a result of a complete stranger telling them to!

From subliminal social influences, through peer pressure, invisible conformity and directed obedience, in this single module, included as part of the Introduction to Psychology course, you will learn about experiences in psychology that will entirely change your perspective of your own unconscious behaviour and conscious autonomy.  Beginning with an overview of invisible psychological forces imposed on the individual, in this module, you will explore the concepts of conformity, obedience and deindividuation, discover why we conform, learn about social loafing and the extraordinary influence of the bystander effect, and cultural differences in psychological research.

For anyone living or working in groups, and to raise personal and professional awareness of how our behaviour can drastically change as a result of simply being in the company of others, this module is an excellent eye-opener of the invisible pressures that influence our decisions.  By taking this module, you will significantly increase your understanding of psychological forces and phenomena and greatly improve your own autonomy and decision making.

Development of Personality

Personality can generally be described as the relatively enduring patterns of thoughts, feelings, and behaviours that distinguish individuals from one another.  But are we born with personality traits, or do we learn them over time through experience of our environments?

Non-Verbal Communication (NVC)

Non-verbal communication (NVC) is often mistakenly referred to as simply the observation of physical ‘body language’.  But this ancient, invisible form of subconscious communication in perpetual motion, encompasses much more than that.  In non-verbal communication we examine everything that is communicated; from physical gestures, spatial distance, bodily orientation, and movement, to all the subtle micro transmissions conveyed in vocal paralinguistics.

Beginning with an overview of the real nature of non-verbal communication, including traditional methods of physical facial expressions, gestures, spatial distance, and other subtle cues hidden not only in visual but auditory observation and written communication, this module on Non-Verbal Communication is one of the lessons included in the fully comprehensive Introduction to Psychology Course.  By taking this module, you will explore when we first learn this ancient art of transmission; how much of our communication is non-verbal, the role that paralinguistics plays in NVC, the impact of social media on communication, and how, outside of pop psychology micro-cues, we can really spot a liar!  An ability that becomes increasingly easier when you realise that people can lie, but the mind does not.

For anyone wishing to explore this fascinating form of unconscious transmission for general interests, to be able to improve observation for personal reasons, or for those who would benefit from developing a much greater awareness to apply in professional settings, this unique opportunity to learn observation and the decoding of non-verbal communication from a qualified analyst is highly recommended.  By the end of this module, you will be able to observe beyond your former boundaries of perception.

Module Content:~

    • Comprehensive explanations of the different presentations of NVC
    • Decoding information between and within species
    • Non-verbal communication in Social Learning Theory experiments
    • Impact of Social Media communications
    • Why a non-verbal element is necessary for communication
    • Paralinguistics: definitions and examples
    • How to spot a liar using NVC
    • Eye-language and universal facial feature analysis
    • Cultural variations & haptics in non-verbal communication

Stereotyping, Prejudice & Discrimination

From observations in social psychology, stereotyping is described as an oversimplified generalised belief about a group, and the people we subconsciously ascribe to it.  Often misunderstood as one thing, stereotyping, prejudice and discrimination are three different mind behaviours, but why do some people classify and judge others?

In this highly illuminating module, included as part of a series of lessons on the Introduction to Psychology course, a full spotlight is focused, not only on observable human behaviours, but uniquely, on the unconscious biases that motivate them. Beginning with clear definitions and descriptions of the three separate mind behaviours, stereotyping, prejudice and discrimination, you will learn about research in psychology that explores the age that stereotyping begins and why people do it?  With discussion on highly influential studies in social psychology, including Tajfel’s Social Identity Theory and Sherif’s ‘Robber’s Cave’ experiment, you will discover the exact thought processes that cause discrimination, competition and in-group/out-group behaviour.  You will also learn about the strategies for reducing discrimination, and uncover a ground-breaking theory that underpins the real root causes of discrimination and racism, developed by the psychoanalyst presenting this module.

For anyone who really wants to understand why people judge, exclude, hate and even harm those who they perceive as belonging to another group.  By taking this module you will develop a much greater awareness of unconscious psychological processes, mind biases and group dynamics, and how to overcome them.  The information presented can be applied to improve interactions with others, to develop more harmonious relationships, and a deeper understanding of human behaviour, for your personal and professional progression.

Learning Theories

How do we learn?   What does it mean to have learned, is it simply the storing of information in the mind?    Is everyone capable of learning and what is the role of intelligence in the acquisition of knowledge?   In the presence or absence of role models, what is our primary motivator for learning anything at all?

This module on Learning Theories is just one of the lessons taught on the Introduction to Psychology course. Beginning in experimental psychology, you will learn about our different learning styles, the process of conditioning on the animal and human brain, the impact of our family and environment on what and how we learn, the transfer, or extinguishing of learning over time, and the impact on our behaviour of social observation, reinforcement and rewards, and environmental influences in everyday experiences.

Memory, Forgetting, Amnesia, Alzheimers & Dementia

When does memory begin?  Some psychologists think that memory and experience begin at birth.  Others believe memory and experience begin in the womb when we are physically still attached by the umbilical cord to our mothers, and that we not only exchange all of our fluids with our mothers but in the womb, we exchange emotion.  Often people will say they do not have a good memory, or that they have forgotten, when in truth they do have a good memory but are unable to access the information, memory, or schema, stored in the mind. Other times there are perfectly good explanations for why memory seems to fail us, especially as we go into old age.

This module on ‘Memory & Forgetting’, is just one of the lessons on the Introduction to Psychology course.  In this module, you will learn about the way in which we process incoming information, encode, and remember it – or not!  Exploring the Informational Processing and Multi-Store Models of Memory, you will discover how your own memory works, in The Recency and Primacy Effects, and Millar’s Magic No. 7 experiments.

With discussion on memory function, PTSD, flashbulb memory, managing memory trauma, emotional tagging, forgetting, amnesia, Alzheimer’s, and dementia, the defence mechanism of regression, and Freud’s theory on forgetting, this module is a ‘must-take’ for anyone working with others in professional care settings, dealing with family members, or for anyone interested to learn how their own memory works.  By taking this module, you will develop excellent awareness of how we process and store information in our memories, be able to better understand some of the obstacles that can appear to prevent us from remembering, and learn how to manage and improve your own memory.  This module is also an excellent foundation for educational and career development, with the learning being highly applicable for improving personal and professional relationships.

Module Content:~

    • An introduction to our memories, and what is invoked when we remember
    • Emotional tagging, triggering, & spontaneous remembering
    • Traumatic memories, PTSD, & ways of managing
    • The anatomy of memory in the brain, the amygdala & hippocampus
    • Experiments in Psychology: Millar’s Magic Number 7
    • Capacity and limitations on encoding
    • Schema Theory of Memory

Brain Anatomy, Illusions & Delusions

The brain is an incredibly finely tuned organ of complex chemical and electrical functioning, that human beings could simply not live without. Having thought to evolve from animal brainstem origins, all human brains require certain components to function optimally.  In constant activity, in both waking and sleeping hours, our brains are that which detects and decodes a mass of sensory information, mediates our bodily functions, and enables us to move.  Within the skull, the human brain has two hemispheres, one on the right side of the brain and the other on the left side.  These two halves of the brain are connected by the corpus callosum, which acts as a crossing bridge of electrical, neurological information. From traditional studies, it is thought that the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body and the left side of the brain controls the right side of the body.  Being able to make millions of neurological connections, recent research into plasticity looks at the ability of the brain to rewire itself.

As the first lesson on the Introduction to Psychology course, in this single module, you will learn about the dual mind theory, addressing the first question of what is psychology?  Beginning with a clear introduction of brain anatomy, you will learn about illusions, delusions, the cause of dyslexia, Gestalt principles, neurology, sensory decoding of stimuli, techniques for brain scanning, how the brain functions, where, from somatosensory mapping, are components in the brain located, and what happens when we encounter a gap in perception?  In addition, you will learn about the role of the pineal gland, homeostasis, the effect of drugs on the brain, and the impact of shock and trauma.

This module on Brain Anatomy & Neurology is for anyone interested to know more about the inside of our brain, and why our mind sometimes appears to play tricks on our perception. Especially recommended for anyone suffering perceptual distortions or brain trauma, and those who work in professional therapeutic settings with them.  By taking this module, you will improve your comprehension for natural curiosity, educational or career advancement, and develop a greater understanding of core psychology, brain anatomy, disruptions in cortical functioning, and neurotransmitter activity.

Module Content:~

    • Are the mind and the brain the same or different things?
    • How do we decode and encode external and internal stimuli?
    • What are illusions and delusions?
    • What causes dyslexia, and what can be done to help?
    • The primary brainstem, animal brain, & evolutionary development
    • Brain hemispheres, lobes, the pineal gland, & cortical functioning
    • Localisation, lateralisation, & somatosensory mapping of brain regions
    • The role of the hypothalamus, amygdala, thalamus, and pituitary gland
    • Brain scanning techniques
    • Neural networks and neurological functioning

    The Psychology of Aggression

Everyone gets fed-up or short-tempered from time to time, but why are some people prone to outbursts of violent behaviour?  Where does aggression come from and how is it connected to our psychological and emotional behaviour?  Why does aggression suddenly flare up, creating havoc all around and how are some people able to manage their aggression, when others seem so trigger happy and are not?

With new insights, in-depth explanations and discussion from neuroscience and depth psychology, you will examine the evolutionary origins and behavioural manifestations of male and female aggression, gaining a unique opportunity to fully explore this explosive human trait.  Beginning in child development, you will learn about the age that aggression manifests, how our psychological and emotional behaviour is linked with hormonal influences, powerful subconscious impulses, and the role of socio-economic factors and cognitive priming in aggressive behaviour. Spirituality for Beginners & Advanced

The spiritual realm is a fascinating and truly amazing world of synchronicities and divine interventions, and now, more than ever, people are waking to the idea of fully encompassing a spiritual practice into their everyday human experience.  In this overly materialised world, spirituality leads us through the process of insights and transformation, back to our authentic selves, where we can find deeper meaning, understanding, and peace. Spirituality can perhaps be described as the individual pursuit of connecting with the immaterial realm.  Unlike religion, which is largely a group practice, spirituality is the personal and private communion with divine beings and spiritual energies greater than ourselves.

Bringing all worlds together in this previously recorded combination live lecture/online class on Spirituality for Beginners & Advanced, those new, and even familiar with the spiritual path, are taught core principles and essential basic foundations to underpin psycho-spiritual development.  Beginning with discussion on the concepts of soul, spirit, and the meaning of experience, Carole Sawo brings together old school knowledge with original insight into the ego’s response to a rise in consciousness, the integration of aspects of self, and the sudden emergence of psychic abilities, the traditional and advanced chakra centres that run through the body, subtle energy and auric fields, karma, the power of crystals, the OM & sensory perception in spiritual communication, and healing therapies.

This unique opportunity to study Spirituality is highly recommended for those wishing to begin or further develop their own spiritual practice, learn about decoding symbolism, understand the ‘ways up the mountain’, importantly avoid the common pitfalls, chaos, and dilemmas in psychological and spiritual transformation, and expand comprehension on psychosomatic medicine, life scripts, Spiritual Law, and an entirely new holographic perspective of conscious perception.

    Topics Covered;

      • Core principles & essential basic foundation
      • Life scripts & Spiritual Law
      • Ego, shadow, & rise in consciousness
      • Finding meaning and happiness in deeper connections with spirit
      • Metaphysical principles of energy

Managing The Mind In Solitude & Separation

There are lots of times in life when we find ourselves completely alone. Often, these times are brought on by circumstances outside of our control.  Solitude, isolation or separation, mean different things to different people, depending entirely on our living circumstances, the extent of our prior experiences, and the resources in our psychological toolbox. When we are newly away from engaging with others, at first, we might feel fine, especially if we have chosen to be alone, but over time, our private thoughts, anxieties, mind dwellings, and wonderings can begin to back up, clog up, and obscure our view.  In sudden or multiple changes, we can feel overwhelmed, spun into a mind snowdome, uncontrollably catastrophising as our brain tries to cope amid a bombardment of emotions and thoughts from the past and the future. In separation, we can feel the draft as our former attachments begin to untie.
In unfamiliar territory, we can lose our way, grip, purpose, structure, sight of tomorrow, and sometimes we can feel like we are losing a part of ourselves.  With all of this going on, it’s no wonder that our mind can begin to wobble.

Turning nocturnal, not washing, locking ourselves away from the world, all feedback into our subconscious mind, where we can become psychologically stuck.  However, all of the thoughts and feelings we experience are perfectly normal response to find ourselves alone.  Understanding the way the mind processes information, uses invisible yet vital energy, and adapts to our new environment, enables us to comprehend our experiences and re-balance. With the right information and a different perspective, we can begin to discover our own hidden resources and use the experience of solitude as a catalyst for enormous personal growth.

For anyone living alone, or who experiences periods of solitude, being able to find your way through can often reap lifelong rewards, that bring with them a sense of emotional freedom and psychological peace.  In this course on Managing The Mind, you will be provided with a wealth of unique explanations on what is actually happening in your mind; together with mind-tips and strategies, illumination of our four bodies of wealth, why we need to take care of them, a practical daily plan download, your next purpose, and techniques to help focus the mind and lower the internal tension, providing structure, clarity, resolution, and calm relief.

    Forensic Psychology

“The brighter the light, the darker the shadow”
                                                           Carole Sawo

Why do people commit crime?  What is it about the criminal mind that is so different from others?  Are some people just born killers, with innate biological psychopathologies from birth, or are they made by their environment, in fractured deprivation and social chaos?    When we are taught not to harm others, why do some people cross the moral, mortal and psychological Rubicon?

    Forensic Tutorial: Coercive Control

Forensic Psychology combines two worlds.  Forensics, meaning ‘forum’, and psychology, meaning ‘of the mind’.   Criminology, with a heavy focus on criminal law, looks at the crime itself.  Crime Scene Analysis uses a scientific approach with the latest technology.  With bottom-up perspectives, however, we can miss what is hidden in plain sight, that which exists outside of science – the mind.   In combining a top-down perspective, with psychoanalysis, and the understanding of basic core principles in psychological behaviour, we gain a wider view of the perpetrator, what happened, how it unfolded, and even, why.

The absence of a weapon does not mean a crime has not been committed, and more than that, sometimes we can solve crimes not by what is there, but by what is missing.  Criminal profiling enables us to see from a distance, often the best place to stand in order to gain clarity.  In the absence of the perpetrator, we are able to see inside their mind, in careful reasoning processors that reveal that their involvement, was, inevitable!

For everyone intrigued by the fascinating world of Forensic Psychology, this entirely unique opportunity to study with an experienced analyst, is taught straight into your own home.  Join monthly lectures on the most fascinating areas of Criminology, Psychiatry, Forensic Science, Psychology, and Psychoanalysis, you will be entirely captivated throughout, as you explore in-depth key features in forensic psychology and learn how to analyse the criminal mind, crime scene, and notorious case studies.

    Dream Analysis

Dreams are the gateway to the unconscious.  Every night, all humans need to sleep, and often we dream, but why?  Is the dream just a collection of wish fulfilments and desires, or random images that appear in semi-conscious states, or is there a purpose for dreaming?   When dreams seem so irrational, do they have any relevance at all to our waking life, and do the characters and images that appear, have any real significance?   During the day, our conscious mind is alert, aware, and awake, but how and why is it, that during the night, when our waking mind sleeps, our sleeping mind wakes?

    Workshop Preview …

Some people remember their dreams, others do not.  It is estimated that we dream for approximately 2 hours a night, but can we use symbolism to analyse our subconscious mind, is there any real meaning of a recurring dream, and is there an upside to a nightmare?   Within this live lecture recording on Dream Analysis, you will learn how to decode symbolic imagery and how to analyse your own dreams.  Also included is discussion on sleep stages and changes in brain frequencies in relation to external zeitgebers; internal hormonal shifts, sleep cycles, REM, and how to get the best night’s sleep.

Recommended for anyone wishing to learn the ancient language of subconscious communication, you will be provided with a refreshingly new perspective on the real reason for a nightmare, why we sleep and dream, learn how to use and decode ‘symbolic sight’, and discover how you can make your mind work for you – even when dreaming.

    Thought Alchemy

Our mind is a wonderful place of creative imagination, invention, and play, but sometimes not all the thoughts that enter in, are the ones we want to have.  With so much information bombarding our senses, from internal and external origins, we can often feel consciously overwhelmed, wishing we had more authority over the inside of our minds.

All behaviour begins in the mind, and the ability to master our thoughts is a priceless art.  With unpleasant and unwanted concepts seeming to replay on some automatic mind-loop, often, our positive thoughts too quickly evaporate in the corridors of overthinking.

For anyone needing to master the art of their own thoughts, Thought Alchemy is one of eight lessons on the popular online course ‘A Peaceful Mind’.  The ability to transform thinking is so important, however, that the unique opportunity to take this module has now been specially made available.  In exploring the nature of thoughts, you will develop techniques for managing them, discover secret strategies for transforming your internal world, and learn how to release yourself from being the recipient, into becoming the master of thought alchemy.

    Module Overview;

Bringing together a spectrum of information from neuroscience, psychology, psychoanalysis, and personal development, this tutorial explains what is the problem with thinking, why do we over-think, what are thoughts and why do we have them, and what is the relationship between thought, emotion, and other motivators of our behaviour.  With discussion on the nature of positive and negative thinking, you will be taught highly useful strategies for immediately calming the mind, relaxing your mind through the process of ‘thought watch’, improve your internal dialogue, create a refreshing space in the mind, develop techniques for thought alchemy, and strategies for higher-order thought mastery.

    What’s included;

      • Learn why we cannot ‘just stop thinking’, and then over-think
      • Explore the origin of our thoughts and why we become aware of them
      • Discover the role of the frontal cortex and defence mechanisms that drain resources

    The Psychology of Depression

Throughout life, it is common for everyone’s feelings to ebb and flow, especially as life events and circumstances change, but in depression, those feelings persist over time. Depression is a condition that affects many people, either directly, or indirectly.  Symptoms include a loss of interest in pleasurable things, irritability, apathy, and an overall sense of being down. Managing depression is made more difficult when sufferers do not understand their experience, do not have the right information, have nowhere else to turn but to outdated medical models, know how to manage it effectively themselves, or find a way out of the fog.

    Workshop Preview …

The most important thing to realise about the condition called depression is that it is the name given to a set of symptoms only, but this does not explain the cause, nor does it empower people with how to manage it or recover altogether.  The predominant approach is to medicalise the symptoms, however, in this truly life-changing opportunity to watch Carole Sawo deliver the entire lecture on The Psychology of Depression to a live audience, you will learn about the real 13 causes and triggers of depression (with only one of those causes being biological), and discover the one factor that underpins all types of depression.

The Psychology of Depression is highly recommended for anyone who wishes to understand the real causes of depression, for those who would like to develop a much broader understanding and a different perspective, for carers, family members, or for anyone who wants to learn a range of unique yet simple, practical strategies for everyday management, increased energy, and recovery.

    Lecture Overview;

This video recording of the lecture given to a live audience begins with an overview of the definitions, terminology, and traditional categorisations of depression.  Within this unique and specially recorded event, Carole Sawo comprehensively explains information from neuroscience, psychology, psychoanalysis, personal development, and evolutionary psychology, together with a completely new approach in perspective.  In full discussion are the invisible, yet powerful internal and external influences of the development of symptoms, and the simple, workable strategies for management and recovery.

      • Definitions & descriptions of symptoms
      • The common problems that prevent recovery

A Peaceful Mind ~ Calming, Clearing & Getting Organised

    * Top Five Most Popular Course *

What’s makes for a peaceful mind?   Money, health, beauty – someone else?  The truth is, some people already have these things, but their mind is still unrested.  Often, life events, or other people, can have such an overwhelming impact on us psychologically, emotionally, and even physically, that we become confused, disoriented, tearful, and discontent. Trying to cope and navigate life with a muddled mind is a daunting, if not impossible, prospect.  We dream that ‘one day when’, then we will be happy, then we will enjoy life and have a peaceful mind.

Most people want the same things; to feel welcome, safe, peaceful and loved.  But what if having a peaceful mind wasn’t about waiting until some time in the future, attaining possessions, people, or a new place?  How nice would it be to have everything organised, so that the week didn’t involve lurching over last-minute muddled hurdles, losing time, energy, and momentum along the way?  Not to mention being able to avoid the emotional beating ourselves up for all the things we forgot to attend to and all the things we really wanted to do but just couldn’t find the time.  What if having a peaceful mind was simply about knowing how?  This course offers a great opportunity to raise your awareness of when and how to clear out the debris in the mind, how to get internally organised, learn new healthy thought processes, and develop the ability to return, at any moment, to a place of inner tranquility and calm?

For anyone in need of a complete life pause and rethink, A Peaceful Mind invites you to get off the crazy-mind treadmill, to breathe for a moment, take stock of where you are, refresh your perspective, and begin again really simply, not by doing more, but by doing less.  From the very first lesson, you will learn the art of easily organising your life, where to put all the thoughts that have been worrying you, how to relax in the moment, deal with toxic people, develop essential boundaries, gain greater awareness of how to manage your own mind, and how to begin the process of calmly creating the peaceful internal and external worlds that you really want to live in.

    Course Overview

A Peaceful Mind has been designed into three levels.  Level 1: Calming, Clearing and Getting Organised, is a very practical level created for everyone as a beginner’s guide to the mind behaviour and personal progression.  The additional beauty of this introductory level is that no matter where you are, that is exactly where to begin.  This course comprises eight lessons complete with summary transcripts, questions for reflection, and diary and journal downloads that cover the following areas:-

Panic Attacks & How To Overcome Them

Panic attacks happen fast.  Triggered by an unseen, often unknown cause, panic attacks are a cascade of thoughts and feelings that suddenly bombard consciousness, making anyone feel awful.  In panic, it can feel as though the whole world suddenly falls away beneath us.   When the walls close in, in a downward spiral, an attack can be experienced in the mind as a loss of our grip and impending disaster. Making everything worse for any sufferer, in the absence of real understanding of what is happening in the brain, panic can download onto panic, overwhelming the mind with a sudden impulse to take action.  The defence mechanism of catastrophising is easily triggered. Stress can be increased when those around us seem unable to understand our experience or can offer support, and we ourselves lack the language to describe the sensations of psychological, emotional, and physical responses.  Sufferers often misperceive that anyone else can comprehend how frightening the experience is, how awful they really feel in the midst of an attack, or that they can recover from them.

For anyone who has ever suffered a panic attack at home, in the supermarket, the waiting room, or the boardroom, who thinks they need to rely on external props, or other people for support, and for anyone who wants to not only learn how to successfully manage a panic attack on their own, but give themselves the greatest opportunity to recover from them altogether, this specially recorded webinar has been thoughtfully created for you.  Packed with new insights from evolutionary psychology, and information from neurology, psychoanalysis and animal psychology, you will uncover your own innate mechanism in the mind, that is the secret key to your recovery.

This specially recorded webinar begins with a description of panic attacks and why they emerge at certain times in our lives.  With a comprehensive overview of the body’s natural chemical, hormonal, emotional, and psychological responses, attention is drawn to the normal scientific pattern of process from trigger to reset.  In uncovering an innate mind tool, dormant in evolutionary psychology, together with a full explanation of how to engage this essential mind mechanism, students are shown how to apply a simple technique for self-recovery in any real-world situation.

    What’s included;

      • Learn about the four basic triggers of panic attacks & what to do about them
      • Explore information in evolutionary psychology that explains the real reasons why people experience panic
      • An overview of brain anatomy and natural neurological behaviour in a panic attack
