The Black Chakra is my original realisation and concept, first introduced in Pandora’s Panacea ~ Holographic Works of Art in 2007. It sits below the base chakra, in the basement of the psyche, at the base of the spinal column. I describe it as the dumping ground of the Universe – the place into which we project all that we do not want to manage, or perhaps do not know how to, into the Shadow Archetype.

Black is an important colour. It is the ‘fundamental frequency’ of existence. It is the 1 in 10, the invisible shadow that gets the blame yet holds a vital role in the fabric of time. It contains rather than reflects light, and exists beyond the limits of ordinary human perception. What cannot be perceived is not necessarily absent.
The Black Chakra represents that which lies beneath our perceptual awareness – the dark, hidden material within ourselves that we project onto the world around us. It is that which we can all now see made manifest in our world today.
Remember, a demon in its genesis is a negative thought form created in the subconscious mind. In Pandora’s Panacea, I explore this extraordinary territory of the human psyche, that holographically mirrors our external world, and the forces that operate beyond our ordinary awareness.
